The Company is an Italian Farming Cooperative ranking among the biggest wine companies in Italy and thus playing a relevant role in the Italian wine industry. It is situated in Guardia Sanframondi, a small village in Benevento county in Southern Italy.

It was founded in 1960 thanks to the proud initiative of 33 associates and today is the symbol and the economical propeller of the whole county: A mix of ancient grape-growing art and modern technologies able to reach more and more national and international market targets.

Today the company counts about 1.000 associates cultivating grapes on about 2.000 hectares of hilly land with an average height of 350 ASL. The grapes are transformed by the Company in wines and sparkling wines of a superior quality.

The yearly production is of about 240.000 hl.

A high-quality wine is the result of high-quality grapes that have to be rightly transformed. To achieve this, the Company has adopted protocols aiming to exalt the intrinsic peculiarities of each grape variety.

The White wine has a more or less intense straw yellow colour, a delicate scent and a dry, fresh and harmonious taste. Compared to the white Guardiolo, the Falanghina has a paler colour, a distinguishing bouquet and a slightly acidulous taste.

Dry and strongly fruity, the Rosato wine is rosy coloured.

The Red has a ruby colour, with garnet reflections for the “Riserva” type, a winy and slightly fruity fragrance, with a velvety and soft flavour. The Aglianico, with its ruby red colour, has a slightly tannic taste.

Finally, the Spumante, which has a fresh and distinguishing flavour, and a refined and persistent froth. This sparkling wine will fill your glasses with its soft straw yellow reflections
