Rotary valve is a type of valve with a passage or passages in a transverse plug that rotate continuously to regulate the flow of liquid or gas through the attached pipes. Stopcock is the most common and simplest form of rotary valve. Rotary valves have been applied in numerous applications, such as changing the pitch of brass instruments, controlling the steam and exhaust ports of steam engines(most notably in the Corliss steam engine), periodically reversing the flow of air and fuel across the open hearth furnace, loading sample on chromatography columns, and certain types of two-stroke engines, mostly hydraulic automotive power steering control valves. Valves have different types, including eccentric plug valves, full bore pipeline ball valves, butterfly valves, and segmented ball valves. Worn rotary valves increase plant downtime and raise processing costs. Our restoration is outstanding in wear-resistant thermal spray coating. All work is carried out in our Taiwan facilities and work flows are under strict control to ensure customer satisfaction.
