Chi Yueh Enterprise Ltd. was founded in Pingtung, Taiwan, 2002 by the president, Mr. Hsu, Chih-Hsien. The exporting volume to Japan is getting more and more, so in 2007, Mr. Hsu established Chi Hsin Orchid Nursery Co., Ltd to mainly manage all the exporting to Japan. Chi Yueh specialized in Phalaenopsis orchid as both of a grower and a supplier. It has dedicated itself to Phalaenopsis for nearly two decades. Besides 1 tissue culture laboratory, the area of 5 nurseries is 40,000 m2 in total, including PEP greenhouses, glass greenhouses, a cooling room, and a propagation laboratory. Now, Chi Yueh has more than 100 employees and the annual production reaches 4,000,000 plants. All the plants are shipped to 35 countries worldwide. To actively transform into Intelligent Agriculture, Chi Yueh uses ERP system to acquire real-time data to effectively manage all the sales and inventory in finance. Additionally, Chi Yueh holds the principle of Eco-Friendly and green building to design all the nurseries and the lab. To save energy and reduce carbon emission, Chi Yueh practices solar energy and the system of hot-water circulation and the parallel connection of heat pump to replace the heating machine by diesel. Chi Yueh also attaches importance to the safety of employees, so it acquired the certificate of SEDEX (Supplier Ethical Data Exchange) in 2019. For expressing its gratitude to the mother land-Pingtung, Chi Yueh hopes by creating more jobs, people in Pingtung are able to stay in their hometown for a good life. In the future, Chi Yueh will not only keep regarding environmental protection and energy conservation as its own responsibility, but also keep exploring new market and offering Phalaenopsis with the best quality to create new era in Orchid Field.
