Electro-zinc plated steel strip has a pure zinc sacrificial coating on both sides; the zinc coating can be surface passivated on request. Electro-zinc plated steel strip is mainly recommended to increase the corrosion resistance of the final product.

Mechanical properties :

Electro-zinc plated strip retains the mechanical properties of the base metal.

Surface properties :

• Thickness of zinc: 1 to 5 µm on each side

We also offer the possibility of an optional surface treatment by depositing a TOC (Thin Organic Coating), which improves the corrosion resistance of the steel strip and offers anti-fingerprint properties.
