ETILAM has developed an electro-copper plating line based on a unique technology using soluble anodes. Our expertise in the process of rolling and electroplating and the control of raw materials (base metal) means we are able to produce high-quality strip.
ETILAM has developed an acid-based and therefore cyanide-free process, environmentally friendly and guaranteeing you steel strip of consistent quality.

Mechanical properties

Electro-copper plated strip retains the mechanical properties of the base metal.

Surface properties

• Thickness of copper: 1 to 6 µm on each side

We also offer the possibility of an optional surface treatment by depositing a TOC (Thin Organic Coating), which improves the corrosion resistance of the steel strip and offers anti-fingerprint properties.
