This is a technique using CAD/CAM technology to scan the defect area, producing a three-dimensional computerized image of the tooth and the cavity. This then becomes the model for the restoration which will be built. The customized ceramic inlay/onlay has superior strength, durability, and color matching the remaining tooth structure.
Ceramic insert replaces the discoloration causing by amalgam and composite filling with a speedy treatment time. The defect tooth is restored and impossible to distinguish it from the natural tooth structure and a natural tooth has reborn.
